Just before 1 p.m. Friday, 28-year-old Colton Olson of Caldwell lost control of the semi truck he was driving on the Meridian Interstate 84 eastbound onramp, Idaho State Police said. The truck rolled, and Olson was later transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

The truck blocked the eastbound onramp for more than three hours. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Olson was wearing a seat belt. The extent of his injuries, as well as what caused him to lose control of the truck, was unclear.
