The Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars were scheduled to play a preseason game at the Downtown Boise arena Tuesday.
The Stars also were supposed to hold their training camp in Boise. Neither the game nor the training camp will happen, however, because the NHL announced Wednesday that all preseason games have been canceled through Sept. 30.
The NHL locked out its players Saturday night after the two sides could not reach a deal on a collective bargaining agreement.
Fans who have purchased tickets for the game can: 1) Receive double the money spent on NHL tickets toward Steelheads tickets, the purchase of a suite, or toward the purchase of a new Season Ticket, Flex Plan or Mini-Plan; 2) Receive one-for-one credit toward existing season-ticket balances or 2013 ECHL Kelly Cup playoff tickets; 3) Receive a full refund.
Fans can contact the Steelheads or CenturyLink Arena at (208) 383-0080.
