First campaign stop: The aspiring first lady will meet contributors Sept. 27 at The Club at SpurWing in Meridian.

Idaho’s bigger role: Gem State givers have contributed $3.2 million, tripling the Idaho record for a presidential campaign. Mitt Romney has raised money in the state seven times for the 2012 race, but this will be Ann Romney’s first event.

What sort of access? Prices are per person or per couple: $1,000 for reception only; $5,000 for VIP chat with photo; $15,000 to add private dinner; $25,000 for the works, plus “co-host” title.

Public events? No. Romney will attend the fundraiser but will not hold any free events.
