Jesse Scott Fleming is being held in the Ada County Jail on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of trafficking marijuana after sheriffs deputies say he sold pot to undercover officers three times over the past two months.
Deputies arrested the 23-year-old Fleming after he pulled into the parking lot of an undisclosed location Monday afternoon to meet an undercover officer for a drug sale, according to reports. Officers seized a pound of marijuana and a gun during the arrest.
Sheriffs officials say Fleming sold a quarter-pound and an ounce of marijuana to undercover officers two times before Mondays arrest, which led to the drug delivery charges. The trafficking charge was for the seizure of the pound of marijuana Monday.
Fleming will make his initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon. Other charges are possible in the case, officials said.
The crimes of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and trafficking marijuana is punishable by up to 5 and 15 years in prison.
