Broncos senior Taeksoo Kim will be looking for his second top-10 finish of the year after shooting a 3-over 143 through two rounds at the mens golf tournament in Fort Collins, Colo. Kim tied for fourth last week at the Quality Homes Collegiate. Boise State is in 10th place, two strokes back of DePaul and Wyoming, as the tournament heads into Tuesdays final round. Freshman Logan France is just outside the top 25 with a two-round score of 9-over 149, while Clayton Kosanovich (150), Jon VanDyk (153) and Jordan Skyles (154) round out the Broncos team. Tuesdays final round is set to begin at 8 a.m.
BSU WOMENS GOLF: Senior Hayley Young sits in a tie for 16th with a 4-over 148 through two rounds at the Oregon State Invitational in Corvallis, Ore., to lead Boise State. The Broncos, in eighth overall as a team, have a pair of freshmen, Samantha Martin (151, 26th) and McKenzie Ford (152, 33rd) within striking distance of finishing in the top 25. The invitational will conclude Tuesday, with tee times scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
IDAHO WOMENS GOLF: The Vandals, using a balanced team effort, sit in fourth heading into the final day of the Oregon State Invitational. Sophomore Leilanie Kim leads Idaho with a 2-over 146, good enough for 13th overall, and Kaitlyn Oster (149) and Rachel Choi (152) are tied for 20th and 33rd overall, respectively.
C OF I MENS GOLF: Kyle DeLorey shot a two-round, 16-over 160 to to tie for 18th at the NCU Invite in Springfield, Ore., leading the Coyotes into sixth place through two rounds. Ben Hersh and Casey Dyck are tied for 22nd at 18-over 162.
C OF I WOMENS GOLF: Trish Gibbens leads the field through two rounds with a 10-over-par 154 at the NCU Invite. The Coyotes are in second place, three shots back of Concordia. Katherine Reed (162, fourth) and Baylee Borchers (173, tied for ninth) are also in the top 10.
