Borah grad Fife to make next start for Dodgers on Sunday

Published: September 16, 2012

Clayton Kershaw was scratched with right hip pain, giving Borah High grad Stephen Fife the start for the Dodgers against the Cardinals.

Fife has made three starts for L.A. He went 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA while allowing just four earned runs in 16.2 innings.

“He’s pitched well,” manager Don Mattingly told MLB.com. “The times he has pitched, he's been good. He’s hung in there and changed speeds.”
