The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued a yellow (moderate) air quality alert for the Treasure Valley on Friday.
The forecast Air Quality Index (AQI) for Thursday for the Boise area is 60, which is on the low end of the moderate range.
Smoke from wildfires in Northwest and Central Idaho continue to send smoke to the Treasure Valley.
