Two people were injured, one seriously, when a small plane crashed at the Nampa Airport shortly after 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The four-passenger single engine Cessna crashed between the runway and the taxiway, said Nampa Deputy Fire Chief Doug Strosnider.

The two men were transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

The plane came to a rest upside-down, and fuel leaked from the plane. Nampa police and firefighters responded to the scene.
