Construction on the Boise River Bridge near Caldwell will require an eight-hour daytime closure of a westbound Interstate 84 off-ramp, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The westbound off-ramp at Exit 27 will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Motorists should plan an alternate route if they need to exit the interstate in that area during that time, ITD suggests.

The westbound Exit 27 on-ramp is already closed and will remain closed until further notice as part of the bridge rehabilitation project.

Exit 27 in west Caldwell leads to Centennial Way and Idaho 19.
