A Boise mother remains in the hospital with moderate injuries after a rollover crash on Interstate 84 in Eagle at about 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to Idaho State Police. Her 1-year-old daughter, and her husband have been treated and released from a Boise hospital.

Usiel Rios, 23, was driving the vehicle eastbound on the highway, police said. He lost control of the vehicle on the Exit 46 off-ramp, and the vehicle rolled off the right shoulder.

Police say Araceli Brito-Cardoso, 34, wasn't wearing a seat belt, and her daughter, Maria Rios-Cardoso, wasn't in a child safety seat. Both were ejected from the back seat of the Ford Focus they were traveling in.

All three were taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening.

The crash is under investigation. Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
