Mike Responts, a Boise High graduate who worked sports radio in the Boise and Las Vegas markets, died of an abdominal aneurysm Friday night at a Las Vegas hospital. He was 52. Responts, known as “The Sports Pig,” hosted radio shows on KTIK, KIDO, KFXD, KTRP and J105, where he was one of the “Spud Brothers.” The former Boise State and University of Idaho student later joined the SportsFan Radio Network in Las Vegas. He is survived by both parents and two brothers. Services are pending.
