Boise Hawks win 3-2, force decisive Game 3 on Sunday night

Catcher Willson Contreras' walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Boise Hawks a 3-2 victory against the Vancouver Canadians in Game 2 of the Northwest League Championship Series on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.

The Hawks and Canadians will play Sunday night (6:45 p.m.) at Memorial Stadium with the NWL title on the line.

Boise scored single runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth to earn the win. Contreras had two RBIs, including the game winner. With the bases loaded and no outs in the ninth, Contreras roped a line drive into left field, scoring Jemier Canderlario and setting off a celebration by the Hawks near second base.
