BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CENTER

Boise Planning and Zoning Commission, 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, Capitol, entrance off 8th Street

The Boise State University Alumni Association seeks a conditional-use permit for a 46,000-square-foot alumni center on 2.4 acres at 1173 W. University Drive, in a U (university) and the R-2 (combined residential) zone. The association seeks a general exception to apply the standards of the U zone to a parcel zoned R-2, and a variance for parking within the street-side setbacks along Denver Avenue and Belmont Street.

Weldon Stutzman seeks a variance to reduce the front, interior and street-side setbacks for the construction of a 1,000-square-foot retail building and surface parking lot. The 0.14 acre site is at 201 N. Orchard St. in a C-2D (general commercial with design review) zone.

TAEC-Verizon Wireless seeks a conditional-use permit for a wireless communication facility that includes an 80-foot tall monopole. The facility is proposed at 2328 N. 16th St. in a C-2D (general commercial with design review) zone. A variance to reduce the required setback for the monopole from residential property is included in the request.

Iron Mountain Real Estate Inc. seeks a conditional-use permit to modify the requirements associated with a previously approved planned residential development at 4226 N. Chapala Way in a R-1C (single family residential) zone. Changes include the elimination of common driveways and requirement for living space to project in-front garages on select lots.

CSHQA seeks a conditional-use permit for a parking reduction to convert an existing warehouse into office space. The existing building is at 200 W. Broad St. in a R-ODD (residential office with Downtown design review) zone.

The city of Boise seeks annexation of three parcels totaling 44 acres in the vicinity of 5500 E. Warm Springs Ave. to be zoned R-1C (single family residential).

Fred Tester is appealing the planning director’s denial of a zoning certificate to convert a nonconforming office/storage facility into a granite-cutting business. The 0.3-acre parcel is at 4590 W. Albion St. in a R-1C (single family residential) zone.

Riverheights Subdivision No. 5 seeks a proposed preliminary plat for a single-family residential subdivision for 43 buildable lots, seven common lots and three nonbuildable lots on the north side of East Warm Springs Avenue between South Shakespeare Way and East Glacier Drive.

Laney Greens subdivision seeks a proposed preliminary plat for a single family residential subdivision with 15 buildable lots and three common lots on 2.4 acres in a R-1C zone on the south side of West Willow Lane about 1,500 feet west of State Street.

Glenn Levie seeks a design review for a four-story mixed-use building including residential units, live/work units and retail at 916 Park in a R-OD (residential office with design review) zone.

Ada Vision Center — Todd Noble seeks a design review for a two-story office building with related site improvements at 1920-1928 W. State St. in a C-2D (general commercial with design review) zone.
