Carls Jr. will open its second restaurant in Nampa, paired with a Green Burrito restaurant, Tuesday at 1212 12th Ave. Road.
The fast-food hamburger restaurant will be the first business to open in the D.L. Evans Bank complex on that road, according to franchisee John Nelson, who owns seven other Carl's Jr. locations.
The restaurant will be open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, with the drive-through window open to midnight. There also will be an indoor playroom.
Nelson worked for Carl's Jr.'s parent company, CKE Restaurants Inc., before becoming a franchisee in 1992. His company started in California's Bay Area but is based in the Treasure Valley.
"When CKE decided to open the Boise market, we jumped on it, selling our Bay Area stores," he said.
Nelson opened his first Boise restaurant in March 1999.
