Boise State football fans,
the 2012 bobblehead lineup has been announced.
Kellen Moore will one of five BSU bobbleheads
sold at Jacksons Food Stores this season. There will be 5,000 available to fans at 70 Treasure Valley stores. Thats about twice as many bobbles for the current Detroit Lions rookie as will be sold for other Broncos.
When will they be available?
Bobbleheads will be released on Fridays starting Sept. 14, with George Iloka first. Others are set for Sept. 28 (Tyler Shoemaker), Oct. 12 (Billy Winn), Oct. 19 (Doug Martin) and Oct. 26 (Moore). Sales will start at 6 a.m. on those days.
Why no Shea McClellin?
The list sprang from a fan poll on Facebook and university recommendations. Marsing native McClellin, a rookie with the Chicago Bears, might be bobbled in the future.
Due to high demand
, theres a limit of two per customer per visit. The cost is $7 each, or $5 with purchase of two Blue Bunny ice cream products.
What is the Moore bobblehead doing exactly?
Wearing the all-white Nike Pro Combat uniform the team wore for the Georgia game last year, Moore is in the drop back in the pocket and analyzing the play pose, a BSU official said.
Not a Bronco fan?
This year, Jacksons is selling Wolfie Jr. bobbleheads to Wolf Pack fans in Nevada and Benny Beaver to Oregon State fans in Oregon (available in Baker City and Ontario stores).
