Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches plans to open its sixth Treasure Valley restaurant in late summer or early fall.

The store, part of a franchise, will open at 1590 South Vista Ave. in Boise.

A fifth store, at 7300 W. State St., opened Aug. 20.

Jimmy John’s is based in Champaign, Ill. and was begun in 1983. It has more than 1,400 stores in 42 states.

HC Co. Inc, in Boise, is the general contractor for site work and shell construction.
