Idaho colleges roundup: College of Idaho volleyball loses to No. 2 team in nation

The Coyotes were swept 25-14, 25-21, 25-19 by Concordia-Irvine at the Red Lion Hotel-Anaheim Summer Slam. Torrey Hulsey led the C of I with seven kills. The Coyotes (2-3) also fell to No. 5 Biola 25-19, 25-17, 25-21 despite nine kills by Kylee Nawahine.

BOISE STATE SWIMMING: The Broncos released their schedule, which includes home meets against Idaho (Oct. 9), BYU (Dec. 15) and Wyoming (Jan. 19) at the Boise West YMCA.

BSU SOFTBALL: Assistant coach Sam Marder was named the National Pro Fastpitch Offensive Player of the Year. Marder, a catcher for the Akron (Ohio) Racers, batted .343 with eight home runs and 27 runs batted in. She is entering her second season with the Broncos.
