A 21-year-old Boise woman was taken to the hospital following a crash in Downtown Boise early Sunday morning, according to Idaho State Police. The crash was reported at 1:48 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd and Main streets.

Police say Chantel Coey driving east on Main Street, when she struck a parked 2001 Ford F250 Pickup. The impact of the collision caused the pickup to hit a parked 2012 Subaru Impreza. Neither of the parked vehicles were occupied at the time.

The impact of the initial collision caused Coey's vehicle to roll; police did not say what type of vehicle she was driving. Coey, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

ISP investigators determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
