The Broncos used a goal from junior Rebe Wolverton in the 67th minute to beat New Mexico State 1-0 on Friday in the Holiday Inn Classic at the Boas Soccer Complex. Tylyn Hughes assisted on the goal for BSU, which returns to action Sunday against North Dakota State. The Bison lost 3-2 in overtime to Idaho State earlier Friday. ISU and New Mexico State also play Sunday.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: The Coyotes posted two wins at their home tournament. Sofia Anxo had four of the C of I’s 14 aces in a 25-10, 25-8, 25-21 win over William Jessup, and Torrey Hulsey’s 11 kills and four blocks paved the way to a 25-23, 25-19, 19-25, 25-19 win over Vanguard.
