The westbound Interstate 84 on-ramp at Exit 27 in Caldwell will close at midnight Sunday for work related to rehabilitation of bridges over the Boise River, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The closure is expected to last from three to four weeks. The eastbound off-ramp remains closed through late August. The eastbound on-ramp and westbound off-ramp at Exit 27 will remain open. Exit 27 serves Centennial Way, Rotary Pond Park and Idaho 19 toward Greenleaf. Crews have been working on removing the damaged surface on the old bridge deck and replacing it with a new surface. Message signs have been in place alerting drivers to the closure. Motorists should watch for a reduced speed limit (55 mph) and width restriction (16 feet) through the project area.
