New Belgium Brewing’s traveling bicycle vaudeville show and beer fest hits Boise on Saturday with its crazy costumed bike parade, annual trade-your-car-for-a-bike event, music from Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, street performers SsnakeenStein and others and — of course — lots of New Belgium brews. Pre-funk for this year’s event at the Pre Fat Block Party, put on by Boise Radio and Duck Club Presents (the Treefort gang). There, you can enjoy some pre-beers, decorate your bicycle for the morning ride and groove to Boise’s Finn Riggins, Portland’s Brainstorm and more. It all benefits the Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association, Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance and Boise Bike Project.
