Caldwell police have charged 49-year-old Jerry Lee Moore on misdemeanor counts of child enticement and disorderly conduct after officers say he offered to pay two different teen girls for sex at Jaycee Park.

The girls were 13 and 17 years old, according to Caldwell Police.

The girls told police Moore approached them around 7 p.m. Wednesday at the park and offered them money. The girls declined and left right away, but also saw him walk to a nearby motel. The girls went home and told their parents, who contacted police.

Caldwell police identified Moore as a suspect and found him at the motel, located at 512 Frontage Road. Moore was arrested a short time later after talking to officers at the Caldwell Police station. He was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct after admitting to being intoxicated while he was at the park, according to reports.

A court hearing for the misdemeanors will be set for later this month.
