Idaho ties in the NFL: Kellen Moore makes his debut with Lions

Kellen Moore entered the game for the final series of the first half of Detroit’s 19-17 loss to Cleveland on Friday night. He stayed in the game for the entire second half and finished 4-of-14 for 40 yards. The Lions’ last shot ended when Moore was intercepted by David Sims at the Cleveland 36 with 34 seconds left.

• According to the Detroit Free Press, wide receiver Titus Young missed the Lions' game against Cleveland because of the expected birth of his child.

• Running back Doug Martin scored a rushing touchdown in Tampa Bay’s 20-7 victory over Miami on Friday.

"Doug Martin found a way to get in the end zone, which was excellent, that he made a way to get it in," Tampa Bay coach Greg Schiano said in a postgame press conference posted on buccaneers.com.

He had seven rushes for 21 yards, and added a catch for 7 yards.

"He's an explosive back. There was one play where he got hit and somehow stayed on his feet. That's what you looking for in a running back, first-round guy. Doug's a tremendous talent," Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman said in a postgame press conference posted on buccaneers.com.

• Defensive lineman Billy Winn recorded two tackles for Cleveland in a 19-17 victory over Detroit

• Defensive back Kyle Wilson had a 6-yard punt return for the Jets in a 17-6 loss to Cincinnati.
