Hawks make the most of their hits in victory

Published: August 10, 2012

Boise managed only four hits Thursday night in Everett —three of them for extra bases — but managed to pull out a 3-2 win over the AquaSox. Designated hitter Dan Vogelbach hit two solo home runs, and outfielder Izaac Garsez tripled in the eighth inning and scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly. Reliever Matt Iannazzo pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn the victory, while Tyler Bremer struck out three in the final two innings to grab his first save of the season.
