A man who appeared to be wearing a disguise robbed the Capital Educators Credit Union near Cole and Franklin roads in Boise Tuesday afternoon. The suspect did not display a weapon, but demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery, which was about a half mile from the Ada County Sheriff's Office, was reported at about 4:09 p.m.
Police said witnesses described the suspect as a medium- to heavy-set adult male. The suspect was wearing a dark jacket and dark pants with a green-colored shirt underneath. He was also carrying a bag.
Responding officers searched the immediate area, but they did not locate the suspect. At 5:36 p.m., police released photos of the suspect.
