A man was taken to a Boise hospital Saturday after he was shot while inside a motel on Fairview Avenue. The man's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said Sunday.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. at a motel in the 2600 block of West Fairview Avenue.
Witnesses told police that the man was shot by what appeared to be another adult; police did not specify the gender of the shooter.
Police say they have some good leads. They do not believe there is a threat to the general community.
