Fire crews are battling a brushfire east of Lucky Peak.
The Pole Fire broke out late Friday afternoon in Elmore County and began spreading rapidly through grass and sagebrush burning more than 1,500 acres.
Blacks Creek Road was temporarily closed at the Prairie turnoff. Crews plan to control the fire by 10 p.m. Saturday.
