Wildfire near Cambridge threatens structures

Firefighters are responding to a new wildfire six miles north of Cambridge. Cambridge is north of Weiser.

The Grizzly fire was reported about 2:30 p.m. Friday at an estimated 10 acres and quickly grew to 150 acres by 4:30 p.m.

About 20 structures are threatened and evacuations are in effect.

Currently, eight engines, 16 smokejumpers, two bull dozers, three single-engine air tankers, one air attack, three C-130 air tankers along with other air and ground resources are working on the fire.

Vale BLM, the Boise National Forest and numerous local rural fire departments are also responding to the fire.
