Calling all dogs! Boise dog pool party Aug. 29

Take your dog for a dive and help raise money for Boise dog parks at See Spot Splash from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at The Natatorium, 1181 Warm Springs Ave.

This off-leash play-and-swim party, sponsored by Boise Parks & Recreation and the Idaho Humane Society, is free; donations will benefit Boise dog parks.

The maximum capacity is 50 dogs per hour; sessions will start on the hour at 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 p.m.

Here are some rules of the pool for See Spot Splash:

• Dogs only, no humans will be allowed in the pool.

• Owners must be present and with their pets at all times.

• All dogs must enter and exit the pool facility on a leash.

• All pet handlers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.

• All dogs are required to have current vaccinations.

• No naked dogs; collars must be left on while swimming.

• Handlers are limited to no more than two dogs.

• No aggressive dogs or female dogs in heat.

• Owners must pick up all droppings.

• No food inside the pool area.

• Small toys will be allowed (tennis balls, throw toys etc.).

Dog owners will be asked to sign a waiver, which is available online atwww.cityofboise.org/parks.
