On Monday, two men allegedly attempted to shoplift two air pistols from a store on the 8300 block of W. Overland Road. When a store employee confronted the men, one of the suspects threatened to stab the employee if he did not let them leave the store, according to Boise police. The suspects left the store before police could arrive, but the store employee was able to help police identify the suspects.
On Wednesday, police arrested Anthony S. Field, 26, and Korena D. Heitzman, 19, of Boise, as they left a residence on the 3500 block of Woody Drive.
Field is charged with four felonies aggravated assault, burglary, felon in possession of a weapon and probation violation. Heitzman faces one felony charge of burglary.
An Emmett man has been charged for embezzling more than $19,000 from his Boise employer.
The business contacted police on July 20 to report the theft.
During their investigation, police say they found evidence Joe A. Molyneux, 62, who is now a former employee of the business, forged multiple checks obtain more than $19,000.00 from the company.
Molyneux is charged with grand theft and forgery.
Travis G. Pennington, 18, and Tyler A. Pennington, 20, both of Boise, have each been charged with burglary following an investigation into a July 9 theft of three 12-packs of beer from a convenience store on the 6500 block of S. Federal Way.
Officers did not recover the stolen beer, which was reportedly Coors Light and Bud Light.
