Forever Green will be the city's new contractor in charge of maintaining landscape at the Boise Airport.
City Council members did not debate their decision to dismiss Senske Lawn & Tree Care on Tuesday. In fact, the measure to change contractors was part of the "consent agenda" - a group of resolutions and other items considered routine that council members approved with a single vote.
Senske signed a one-year, $70,000 contract in April to manage upkeep of the airport's landscaping. But airport staff said the company repeatedly failed to follow through on on several of the contract's requirements, including weed removal and maintenance of sprinklers and shrub beds.
Forever Green's $60,000 contract is scheduled to last one year.
