Published: July 30, 2012

Bridge repair work will close the eastbound off-ramp of Interstate 84 at Exit 27 in Caldwell through late August, according to the Idaho Transportation Department. Crews initially will use a high-pressure water stream to remove the top few inches of damaged surface on the old bridge deck.

Concrete Placing Co. Inc., of Boise, is the contractor on the $1.42 million project. The Exit 27 repairs are part of the $1.42 million project, which includes work on several other structures. The entire contract is expected to finish by late October.
