Caldwell Police officers stopped a car at around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning at 16th and Cleveland because its taillights weren't working.

Stephanie Tucker, Caldwell, was driving the car. Police conducted field sobriety tests and arrested Tucker for driving under the influence of alcohol. They learned that this was Tucker's third DUI in 10 years, making it a felony offense.

Officers also discovered that Tucker had left her three young children, ranging in ages from 2 to 8, at home alone. Officers went to the home to check on the children. They released them to the care of a family member.

Tucker was booked into Canyon County Jail on felony DUI and injury to a child.
