“Lower your expectations and live a happier life,” or so says the folksy, acerbic handyman Red Green, who preached the benefits of a simpler approach to life for 17 years on Public Television’s “The Red Green Show.” Actually, it’s actor, comic and writer Steve Smith who was behind it all, and who will bring his one-man show to Boise as he spreads the gospel according to denizens of the Possum Lodge. Smith, pictured, turns the whole male ego thing inside out as he offers a fresh take on things. In his world, nothing is impossible as long as you have enough duct tape.
