NNU names new dean of education, social work and counseling

Paula Kellerer, chair of Northwest Nazarene University’s Department of Education, has been appointed dean of the Nampa College’s School of Education, Social Work and Counseling, NNU announced Wednesday. Kellerer will also continue her responsibilities as department chair. In addition to holding teaching responsibilities, Dr. Kellerer is involved with academic advising at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She also serves on several faculty committees including the graduate studies and general education council. Before joining the NNU faculty in 2010, Kellerer served six years as chief academic officer for the Nampa School District. As dean, Kellerer follows Jim Bader, who headed the school of Education, Social Work and Counseling for the past six years. Northwest Nazarene University is a private Christian university founded in 1913. It enrolls more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
