The Mountain West (Tuesday and Wednesday) and WAC (Thursday) will hold their annual football media previews this week in Las Vegas. The Idaho Statesman’s college football reporter, Chadd Cripe, and sports columnist, Brian Murphy, will be there to report all the news and sound bytes — in the paper, in the Bronco Beat and Murph’s Turf blogs at IdahoStatesman.com and on their Twitter accounts, @IDS_BroncoBeat and @murphsturph. Here are some key moments during the week (all times Mountain):

Tuesday morning: The Mountain West will release its preseason poll, players of the year and all-conference team, based on media voting.

2 p.m. Tuesday: A series of 15-minute podium sessions for each of the league’s 10 teams begins. They will be streamed live on themwc.com. Fans can submit questions, and win prizes, through the website.

6 p.m. Tuesday: Boise State coach Chris Petersen, cornerback Jamar Taylor and offensive guard Joe Kellogg address the media.

6:30 p.m. Tuesday: Taylor and Kellogg will participate in a live chat with themwc.com.

9:30 a.m. Wednesday: Mountain West commissioner Craig Thompson gives his state of the conference address.

11 a.m. Wednesday: Taylor and Kellogg are available for one-on-one interviews with the media.

10:30 a.m. Thursday: The Idaho Vandals meet the media at the WAC preview.
