Yes, China. Rocks Water inked a deal to deliver about 35,000 bottles of spring water to Shanghai. That’s 10 times the size of the company’s largest contract to date.

What’s Rocks Water? A mom-and-pop water-bottling business owned by Scott and Angie West, former U.S. Marines who started it in the former Rocks Lodge building along Idaho 21 in 2008. The water is carried in stores across Idaho, including Albertsons, Jacksons and Boise Co-op.

Why water from Idaho? The tap water in China is poor, and many drink bottled water. The buyer wanted to work directly with the owner of a small spring water bottler.
