A 28-year-old Nampa man died early Saturday morning after receiving a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim apparently entered a residence in the 400 block of 2nd Avenue North in Nampa, startling his brother awake. The brother, age 21, shot the victim with a handgun.
At this time there have not been any charges against the 21-year-old. Police are still investigating and have not released the men's names.
Two other adults were asleep in the home at the time of the shooting.
