Marcus Barber, 18, and Eric England, 18, will compete in the USA Track & Field National Outdoor Junior Olympics in Baltimore later this month. Barber, a Boise High graduate, ran the 110 hurdles in 14.79 seconds (second place) and the 400 hurdles in 59.80 seconds (second) at the Region 11 qualifier in Bozeman, Mont., on June 23. England, a Mountain View High graduate, won the triple jump with a leap of 47 feet, 9.25 inches. Barber and England will compete for national titles July 25-29.
