Canyon County Pet of the Week: Rain the Catahoula Leopard mix

Published: July 10, 2012

Rain, 1, is a Catahoula Leopard mix. Listed at 45 pounds, Rain is quiet and well-mannered. Rain does well on the leash, responds great to her people and loves gentle pets on the head. Rain does great with other dogs here at the shelter, and would have little trouble transitioning into a multi-dog household. Rain is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

Rain is located in dog adoptions No. 1 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter in Caldwell. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
