Boise firefighters remove a fallen tree that was snagging floaters on the Boise River below Martin Bridge Saturday July 8, 2012. Firemen directed people off the river above the snag until they could clear the danger. The removal and check for other potential hazards effectively closed the river down for a couple of hours. Some floaters marched downstream along the Boise Greenbelt to continue their summertime tradition on the river. DARIN OSWALD — doswald@idahostatesman.com Buy Photo
