Singer k.d. lang rolls into Eagle

Published: July 6, 2012

If the world needed any reminder of k.d. lang’s vocal prowess, it came when she sang Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” during the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. One word: Stunning. The Canadian country and pop singer, who hit it big in the late ’80s and early ’90s with favorites such as “I’m Down to My Last Cigarette,” “Full Moon Full of Love” and “Constant Craving,” is bringing her voice to more intimate audiences this summer. Lang doesn’t perform in Idaho often (ever?), so this is a rare opportunity to witness a truly gifted singer on a beautiful evening.
