‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at Boise's Knock ’em Dead Theatre

Published: July 6, 2012

Knock ’em Dead Theatre’s summer youth program is performing Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Tim Rice’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” The pop musical tells the story of the biblical Joseph (Woody Minshew, pictured) through lively, witty song and dance. As a boy, Joseph is sold into slavery by his half brothers, but through his wit and faith, he becomes an adviser to Pharoah. When he’s reunited with his family, they learn the meaning of forgiveness. The 29 kids in the cast are between the ages of 9 and 19.
