What’s open and closed on July 4

INDEPENDENCE DAY CLOSURES

ÆSchools in the Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Caldwell, Melba and Vallivue, Nampa and Middleton school districts will be closed.

Æ Boise State University and administrative offices will be closed.

ÆAll county, state and federal offices will be closed. The city offices of Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Garden City, Eagle, Star, Caldwell and Nampa will be closed.

ÆAll branches of local libraries will be closed.

Æ Household Hazardous Waste Collection at Fire Station 14 is canceled.

Æ The Central District Health Department in Boise, Mountain Home and McCall is closed.

ÆAllied Waste in Ada and Canyon counties, Sanitary Services in Meridian, J & M Sanitation Service in Kuna and Benjamin’s Rural Disposal in rural Canyon County will not be operating, and trash collection will be delayed by one day the rest of the week.

ÆValleyRide city buses will not run.

ÆPost offices will be closed, and no mail, except Express Mail, will be delivered.

ÆBoise Towne Square, Karcher Mall and the Boise Outlet Mall will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

ÆAll state liquor stores will be open regular hours. Contract stores may be open.

ÆMost supermarkets will be open.

ÆMost banks will be closed. Some banks inside grocery stores may be open; check with your local branch.
