Try printmaking for free at Foothills Learning Center

Published: July 3, 2012

Try your hand at printmaking with instructor Amy Nack of Wingtip Press and her traveling press. This free Sunset Series program runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, 3188 Sunset Peak Road.

Participants will have an opportunity to create a collagraph (a textured plate) using natural materials. You can also try operating the press to produce a beautiful embossed print. The free program is open to all ages. Registration is not required.

The Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center is operated by Boise Parks & Recreation. Take 8th Street to Hulls Gulch Reserve. Go 1/3 mile past the end of the pavement. The building is behind the parking lot on the right.
