Mitch Lowe tied for seventh place in the PGA Professional National Championship on Wednesday in Seaside, Calif. Representing Half Moon Bay (Calif.) Golf Links, Lowe shot a 1-under 287.
Matt Dobyns topped the field of 312 of the nation’s top professionals with 13-under 275.
The top 20 earned an exemption into the final major of the season, the PGA Championship, to be held Aug. 9-12 on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C.
