Hautchi, 2, is a neutered male, black and tan Akita mix. Hautchi was transferred to the IHS shelter from another overcrowded southern Idaho shelter for a second chance at adoption. He is a very handsome dog that weighs about 75 pounds and has a lush, thick coat. Hautchi is a sensitive guy that bonds quickly with people and will thrive in a home where he can spend much of his time indoors with his human companions. He appears to be housetrained and walks nicely on the leash. Hautchi is gentle and attentive. He only knows how to sit on command, but is very willing to please and could learn much more. If youre looking for a striking, loyal companion, look no further than Hautchi.
Hautchi can be found in kennel 322 (#16476901) at the Idaho Humane Society which is located at 4775 Dorman Street in Boise. The shelter is now open for extended summer hours. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
