A 45-year-old Kuna man was hospitalized after a crash on Idaho 55 Saturday, according to Idaho State Police. The crash was reported at 3:32 p.m. He was listed in serious condition Sunday afternoon, according to hospital spokeswoman Elizabeth Duncan.
Terrance M. O'Connor was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Police say O'Connor was traveling north on Idaho 55 at a high rate of speed, when he lost control at mile marker 79 near Banks and hit the cement barrier on the west side of the road. Both lanes of the highway were blocked while paramedics aided O'Connor and the crash scene was cleared.
