Eugene defeated Boise 5-4 on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
Eugene broke up a 4-4 tie in the seventh inning and went on to win.
Marco Hernandez drove in two runs for Boise, and Roderik Pichardo (0-1) took the loss after giving up two earned runs in three-plus innings of work.
Boise and Eugene have split the first four games of the Hawks five-game homestand.
They will play the rubber game Sunday night at Memorial Stadium.
