U.S. Bank plans two new Treasure Valley branches

Published: June 15, 2012

U.S. Bank will add branches in Nampa and Meridian to meet the bank's long range projection for growing demand in western Idaho, bank officials said Friday.

The Nampa branch will be at 2220 12th Avenue Road. The Meridian branch will be in the Meridian CentrePoint Marketplace at Eagle and Ustick roads.

Construction will begin this month, the bank said. The two projects will involve more than 100 construction jobs, and the bank expects to hire 15 new employees when the branches open early next year.

The Meridian branch will be 6,100 square feet, the Nampa branch 3,200 square feet.

U.S. Bank has 34 standalone branches in Southwest Idaho and 12 branches in stores.

The bank will hold ground breaking ceremonies on at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22 at the Nampa site and 1 p.m. the same day at the Meridian site.
